ABOUT US

Our story begins as a small restaurant at 17 Roosevelt Street in Manhattan back in 1882. But by 1892 Lekas & Drivas was established as the first major Greek importing house in the United States of America. Bringing in a vast array of Hellenic delicacies from coffee, to spices, and (of course) olive oil.

Fast forward to 2023 and our founder (a member of the Lekas family) after spending over 15 years in the Greek importing business decided to reintroduce Lekas Family Imports in honor of what his family began over 130 years earlier. This time, based out of Texas rather than New York, the same family that first brought Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil to market in the USA in the 1890's, is now importing high quality Greek products once more.
